Welcome to
SouthShore
Recovery Club

The SouthShore Recovery Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to providing a safe social environment for people committed to sobriety. The Club is an alcohol and drug-free environment where individuals and families, affected by substance use disorders, can attend recovery meetings, enjoy social activities, and be nurtured in a healthy environment. We are not a rehabilitation center and do not provide medical or healthcare services. Our goal is to serve as a social support community, helping people work toward a fulfilling life in recovery.

Support Our Mission:
A Sober Sanctuary

We are actively fundraising to rent or purchase a property to serve as SouthShore Recovery Club’s permanent home. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality.

Your support will help us:

  • Secure a safe, accessible location

  • Furnish and maintain meeting spaces

  • Provide social activities and events focused on a sober lifestyle

We are now seeking donations, grants, and sponsorships.  Please email SSRecoveryClub@Gmail.com for more information on sponsorship opportunities.

When you click the donate link, you will be taken to Zeffy for payment options.  We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your donation is tax-deductible.  Thank you.

The Journey

When people begin recovery, it can be a lonely journey. After all, many people who have substance abuse disorders may have never experienced a healthy, joyful life.  Our experience shows that 12 step programs are key, but so is access and social interaction with like-minded people in recovery.

The People in Sobriety

Unfortunately, many people leave hospitals, rehab, or jails with the best of intentions but lack direction or a social environment that supports their recovery and a sober lifestyle.  Our goal is to provide a safe haven that supports long term sobriety.

The Lack of Safe Spaces

Many 12 step programs like AA, NA, Al-Anon and ACOA meet in church or community centers, when available.  Unfortunately, not only is this space harder and harder to find, but the cost to rent these spaces may be prohibitive to the volunteers and people that seek these vital resources.

The Location

We are seeking to buy or build a center that will be focused on providing a safe place for meetings, social events, and quiet reflection for those in recovery.  The desired location would be able to provide:

  • Meeting Space for 12 Step Recovery Programs

  • Fellowship & Mentorship Opportunities

  • Family Support

  • Game Nights & Social Activities

  • Meditation Area
